The "Future Migration Scenarios for Europe" project is dedicated to unraveling the intricate web of migration patterns across various levels, spanning from the global stage down to national, regional, and local dimensions.

To offer viewers a profound understanding of the challenges faced by migrants hailing from diverse corners of the world, we have crafted an animated series rooted in authentic real-life narratives. We've taken a unique approach by employing abstract animation techniques, effectively immersing audiences in the evocative tapestry of our characters' memories. Our commitment to authenticity extends to utilizing local voice-over actors who intimately connect with our characters' experiences, thereby enhancing the impact of their performances.

Through this animation, we harness the power of emotions, employing visual metaphors to craft an immersive atmosphere. Our goal is to emphasize that, while we explore migration on a grand scale, we remain firmly anchored in the stories of real individuals grappling with profound and often devastating challenges. #2 Iraq

Embark on a poignant journey with a young Kurdish woman from Duhok, Iraq, as she navigates the intricate landscape of migration dreams. Forced to flee Mosul with her family due to ISIS attacks, she yearns for a brighter future abroad. Armed with a bachelor's degree in English language and an unwavering spirit, she envisions a life in Europe, where political stability and economic prospects beckon. Discover the evolving motivations behind Iraqi migration, where dreams of economic prosperity now intersect with the pursuit of freedom.

#3 Ukraine

Join a thought-provoking conversation between two individuals in the heart of Kyiv, Ukraine, as they share their aspirations and experiences. Meet a man in his fifties, originally from Crimea, who once left Ukraine during the political crisis of 2008 but returned after the Maidan Revolution in 2014.  In contrast, a woman in her forties hails from Kherson but sought better opportunities and security in Kyiv after college.

Experience the journey of a young Senegalese man who has relocated to Dakar. The younger brother seeks to persuade the older one to migrate abroad for a better life, mapping out routes through Google Maps, Facebook groups, and WhatsApp conversations. Despite his older brother's reluctance, a message sparks a pivotal decision to embark on the risky journey to Europe. This moving animation explores the complexities of migration, the pursuit of dreams, and the tough choices faced by young Senegalese seeking hope beyond their homeland's challenges
